Donations

Bartlesville Area Habitat for Humanity survives because of your donations (and we're a 501(c)3 organization, so donations are tax deductible).  These donations come in many forms, but primarily we depend on monetary donations and donations of 'in kind' goods.  Those 'in kind' donations fall into two main categories:  goods we sell to raise money (listed on this page), and goods we use to build homes (listed on the Wish List page).

Monetary Donations

We will gladly accept monetary donations at any time.  Please mail checks to P.O. Box 1284, Bartlesville, OK  74005-1284 or call 918-337-0182 and we'll come pick it up at your convenience.

Note regarding donation solicitations from Habitat for Humanity International

If you receive a solicitation letter from Habitat International, and plan on responding with a donation to them, please know that our local Affiliate will only receive a portion of the donations if our affiliate name is put in the subject line of your check. Or you can simply make the donation to our local affiliate by mailing a check to Bartlesville Area Habitat for Humanity, Post Office Box 1284, Bartlesville, OK 74005. We don't get any government money and are not a United Way agency.  We reply on donations, grants, the warehouse sales and the mortgage payments made by our existing Habitat families to continue our mission of building simple and affordable homes for families in need. We would welcome you to join us in this endeavor!

Do you have an older car, truck, van, trailer, RV or boat taking up valuable space in your driveway?

Car donations support Habitat for Humanity’s local and global mission of eliminating poverty housing and homelessness and save you the time and energy of finding a buyer.

By donating a car to our vehicle donation program, you can help the Bartlesville Area Habitat for Humanity Affiliate build houses in partnership with families in need of a hand up, not a hand out.

It is quick and easy to donate automobiles, trucks, boats, RV’s, motorcycles, construction equipment and other vehicles ~ running or not! Plus, you may be eligible for a tax deduction. (Consult your tax advisor or the IRS for details.)

For more information on how to donate a car, truck, boat or RV to Cars for Homes™ - Habitat’s official car donation program, call (877) 277-4344 toll free or visit www.carsforhomes.org. A car donation is a convenient way to support the Bartlesville Area Habitat for Humanity Affiliate and create more space in your driveway!
